I came to Leeds Beckett on the open day and fell in love with it immediately and became my first choice university. I am pleased with most aspects of the university, however Leeds as a city can't compare to London!

The facilities are good but for a sports uni there could be a better gym. The sports facilities are fantastic but the actual gym isn't air conditioned and is quite small. However there is a full sized running track, tennis courts, a swimming pool and a climbing wall so overall it is good.

The support is really good. there is a residential officer for every student resident building who offer pastoral support etc. there are great services for disabled people and those with learning difficulties and the personal tutors are fantastic.

The students union is good. It’s easy to get involved with stuff and there’s loads of events on. Drinks and food in the union bar are also well priced for students and pretty good.

Leeds is a nice city good clubs but not enough pubs! There are loads of clubs all fairly close together which is convenient. Also there is a big shopping centre which is good and cheap good places to eat. (Nando’s, Reds Buffet etc).

I am joining a society at leeds Beckett but in my opinion the range for non sport related clubs is poor. For sport clubs and societies there is plenty but very few others.

The course here is really catered for students who wish to specialise in music production. However, I wish there were optional modules to cover performance if students wish to still perform music.

There is a bunch of help with finding part time work and many courses feature a year working in the industry. Other than that there is an annual careers event that focuses on career prospects and for working throughout uni there is plenty of support as well as jobs available to students on campus.

Good because I am right next to my classes. There is a pretty good variety of accommodation at Leeds Beckett and I think it caters for pretty much everyone.
