Regarding the course, lecturers are enthusiastic about what they teach and always try to relate what they are teaching you to real life scenarios. A lot will come down to what you make of it but the facilities are definitely there to ensure you the possibility to do well. The worst aspect I have come across is the lack of connections it has with placement opportunities within Sports Science. Regarding the campuses, City campus is great as it's super close and the buildings are all really nice. Clifton is also great and they're always improving on it, however, the location lets it down and can be a hassle to get to. The nightlife in Nottingham is great and it's got something for everyone, and the uni has plenty of societies to join. Compared to other universities the sporting facilities aren't the best but they're still good enough and make the experience of being part of a team enjoyable.

Lecturers are enthusiastic and the majority of content on the course is interesting and applied to real life. The online videos are useful but less inspiring and usually need a lot more motivation in order to do them. Lecturers are quite open and are always willing to offer their advice or speak to you about careers and how your work is going.

Nottingham trent is genuinely such a lovely university to study at! There’s so many societies, student nights, and events to keep you busy. Nottingham as a city has lots to offer so this is a great city to study in.

The best aspects of my course is that it’s always in depth lectures, followed by workshops and group work so we can really understand what we’re studying or working towards that week. Lecturers are great at supporting you when needed. as well as having meetings or touching base with you if necessary.

I love Nottingham Trent and now Nottingham the city! The location for city campus is amazing, it’s a 15 minute walk away from my city centre studio apartment, and it’s close by to everything when you’re there. You have the library (which is huge with multiple floors), university cafes, the SU etc. and the Victoria Centre is really close! It’s pretty competitive to find part time work due to the amount of students who live in the city, so that negatively impacts the cost of living.

It’s pretty good value for money! It’s a gated property with 24 hour security that always made me feel safe & protected. It was a bit of a walk to uni but I always appreciated it as it woke me up on my way to an early morning lecture. The shared kitchen was pretty spacious and I got a good amount of my own kitchen space. I quite liked my room, and I LOVED that I had my own en suite bathroom, I had just wished that the bed was a little bigger at times!
