Best: being on hall committee and having responsibility and opportunity to organise events for halls. Bad: gym isn’t 24 hours and would be good if it was open earlier and later for students

My course is very current with changing technologies and methods of doing things. We learn various industry software and most of our briefs are centred around real world and future events. Bad: limited workshop time, which makes the course less hands on than I would prefer.

Best: hall committee and being able to organise events and build on my CV. Very good community in halls best I’ve seen out of other halls. Hall management are friendly and help deal with issues I have: Bad: WiFi connection is very intermittent and sometimes disconnects.

The atmosphere and general energy at loughborough it very welcoming and encouraging to work in and play sport. The hardest part is moving away from home but the campus feel makes it worth it

Very encouraging environment and great facilities

Lifts can be annoying if broken down but it had a bad reputation for a great hall. I loved it and once you’ve experienced towers you’ll love it forever
