Overall, my uni experience couldn't be better and I couldn't recommend Loughborough University anymore. I really like the campus and I am very porud to be part of the Lboro family.
There are many different careers fairs throughout the year and Loughborough has some great connections.
The course is a mix between lectures and labs and the things I like most is that all lecturers are friends and easy to talk to. There is nothing that I particularly dislike.
LSU is fantastic and much better than some other unis that I have seen.
Facilities are top notch and again much better than some other unis that I have seen.
Yes as the hall is in the centre of campus.
Very highly, as there are so many sports and societies, so there is something for everyone.
It is great
Not bad, but can be improved. Hope the University can offer more facilities to students and the price can be lower. Also, can supply much more help to international students.
First of all, we have a free bus to take, which saves us a lot of time. Secondly, the facilities of Loughborough University London campus are very new, very comfortable, very technological, and I am very satisfied. Third, the teacher treats the students very friendly and helps students solve academic questions in a timely manner. In the end, I really like the course arrangement of Loughborough University. Although it is compact, it makes me feel that the tuition is well worth it and I will not feel lax.
Our uni is good, and I feel satisfied with my life in Loughborough right now. I think our uni is think highly of students’ life and study experience. The sports facilities in Loughborough is so good.
I like the discussion most, and other ways are also good.
Yes, the location is good.
So helpful to me.
Amazing. My course is interesting and the lecturers are some of the nicest people who only want to see you do well, but you need to work hard! The facilities are great and the content is interesting in Mechanical Engineering. I would recommend this course.
Work placements in the Mechanical Engineering department are given a high priority and are deeply encouraged. We also do some modules which enhance our work skills and prepare us for working in industry.
In some modules there is too much content. It is hard to cover everything to a high standard. I like my lectures and an opportunity to do laboratory experiments is good.
excellent. The shops on campus could be better and more eco friendly for the produce.
The range and amount of activities and opportunities to get involved is extremely good.
There is sufficient support; I find though as my schedule is pretty heavy it is run at times that I cannot attend very easily.
Mixed, made some really good memories and loving my course. Support is there for those few down moments if I need it. I’ve started a new society, met new people. Overall very positive
The uni always informs us with all the possibilities be can attend careers wise
Lots of contact hours
Really good variety, perfect for if you need anything. A bit more expensive for food than if you go into town.
Yes, accommodation is nicely spread throughout the uni, so easy access to all campus facilities. 20min walk or 10min bus into town, so very convenient.
Flipping amazing! So many sports/societies. If there’s not one for you, you can start your own
Overall I have absolutely love my university experience. There have been ups and downs of course, but my department has supported me through them all. The atmosphere is fantastic, and I have felt at home on campus since my first day. From my Halls committee in my first two years, to AU club, to societies, the student exec team in the union... It's a time of my life I will always reflect on positively.
I've loved every minute and don't really want to leave. Is there anything else i can do after my masters so i stay :) It is such a great family environment to be in and presents so many opportunities! I could never imagine going anywhere else.
Careers fair every term! CV drop in sessions at the careers network.
I enjoy the mix of assignments and group work. Although I do struggle to understand some of the lecturers and other students in my groups for example.
I think that they could do more, but also discuss what they do. Events at the union are great, but there are so many more things that they could organise and implement.
Really good and they are constantly being upgraded too! So much has changed from my undergrad to postgrad and got better
The town has basically been built around the uni so it's really easy to get everything you need.
Is there such a thing as too many?
I can't fault the personal services! Academically, personal tutors could be a bit more proactive and open to chatting to you.
It has been amazing, there have been so many opportunities offered to me at loughborough which I would have not had anywhere else. It is definitely worth getting involved in as much as you can to have the full loughborough experience
There are loads of careers appointments for free and also an enterprise and employability section of the union
I like most that the course progresses in terms of depth over the years with lecturers helping you grow in your own work
The union takes student representation very seriously allowing volunteers to get involved with many different sections
Extremely high quality
There is everything you need on campus and it’s only a short walk into town
There are a high number of sports and societies with everyone of different abilities able to participate
There are many people you can turn to if you need any help
It’s been great. The extra curricular options are so vast and brilliant, they really help you figure out what you want to do and also get you out of the loughborough bubble for a while.
It’s great. They have a placement team and graduate team and they send regular emails about positions and offer loads of support.
I like that we have lecture capture so that if we miss a lecture it’s easy to catch up. Some individual professors aren’t good at teaching
The students union could do more to support students politically and actually take a stance on things. The facilities are really good and they are able to offer help and support in most cases.
They’re very good.
The University is really close to town and accommodations. It’s great
There’s a wide range of societies and activities available.
The feedback is quite good. Sometimes there could be more individual feedback on coursework. They offer a lot of personal support e.g. #ME courses are offered
