Environmental Monitoring, Research and Management MSc

Ultra modern Facilities, been to other universities and 6 out of the 8 i've been to in London are old buildings. Student support from Careers network and LSU is superb. Academic writing, CVs and Cover Letters for jobs. Volunteering roles on campus to build CV as well. I think the night life can be improved, and i thing they introduced an international student night so we getting there. So much focus on learning here it really sucks the life out of you but there's groups and fun stuff to do as well outside of sports i mean.

Media and Communication BSc (Hons)

University rating (4)

The best thing about Loughborough is that the her is so much things you can get involved with. You can play every sport you can think of and there are amazing sports facilities. As everything is within the campus it’s really convenient to move around and you can walk pretty much everywhere. One thing that I would say I don’t like about Loughborough University is that if you live on campus you have to walk 15-30 mins to town weekly to buy groceries as there isn’t much shops on campus.

Best: being on hall committee and having responsibility and opportunity to organise events for halls. Bad: gym isn’t 24 hours and would be good if it was open earlier and later for students

Criminology BSc (Hons)

I've found the mental wellbeing team here is amazing, offering tutorials, workshops and 1 to 1 sessions that have helped find the support I need. The campus is the perfect balance of town and nature, and the surrounding area is accessible with the buses. The only downside is that the bus service can be unreliable, so it's not ideal if you struggle walking long distances and I would recommend keeping that in mind for when choosing an accommodation.

Physics MPhys

University rating (4)

Loughborough is a great community with loads of brilliant clubs and societies to get involved with. The town itself is small and doesn’t have much to do but the campus is large and filled with something for everyone. The physics course is intensive but gives the skills that opens the door to lots of different jobs in the future. The lecturers are in majority very good and look like they care about what they’re teaching. There are also brilliant facilities for students to get help and catch up if they needed to.
