Durham Uni is my home now and I couldn’t imagine anywhere else being my home. My first year has been full of new experiences and the friends I have met in my course are the best I’ve ever had.

Incredible teaching and faculty support. Safe and supportive student community. Improvements- impractical to have the self catered colleges so far from centre so would be wise to look into having a shop in a college/ near the hill colleges.

Best- quality of teaching, variety and quality of course content and support. Worst- n/a

Location is beautiful but not much going on in terms of shops. Loads of independent cafes which are amazing. High street rundown but Newcastle very short train away.

Most- quality of facilities inc bedroom, bathrooms, gym etc. Worst- self catered with no shops for a good 15/20 minute walk (up huge hill on way back).
