Very confusing trying to navigate the campus as first, theres so much on it! But it's very nice here, like having a mini city inside of our city. It's possibly the nicest part of the city as a whole.

Interesting modules, Lecturers are very helpful when it comes to all aspects such as content, assignments, and feedback. Feedback is extremely contructive and helpful, subject facilities are amazing and the resources we can access in the library are so vast that I would never be able to finish them all!

I've lived in Leicester all of my life, it's not the nicest city but DMU is a very nice university.

Doing history at DMU has really helped me progress academically, I feel motivated to do well thanks in part to the lecturers who've all helped me further myself in that area. Going to DMU itself has helped open doors I likely wouldn't have been able to access otherwise such as a meeting with the vice chancellor and much more. It's also allowed me to meet many new faces, whether they be from my course or from a night out; I've made many great friends in such a short amount of time and that's really helped me socially.

The lecturers for history are great. They provide us with easy to follow and understand topics as well as similar lectures, seminars and workshops. The course hours are very manageable, around 7 hours a week, and we can contact the lecturers via email or in person throughout most of the day. Further, they encourage us to push ourselves and improve on areas we may have weaknesses in, for me presenting was a weak point, but they made us do a series of mini ones in the lead up to an assessed presentation. Those all helped me understand and improve on any weaknesses I had when it came to presenting and my final piece went very well.
