Cardiff University has so far been a great place to study, the campus fits in well with it's surroundings in the city centre and is easily accessible for those who can walk to it and those who can't. I have found that help and support is always available, from both fellow students, administration, lecturers/professors and pastorally. The majority of facilities are up clean and up to date, especially the relatively new Student's Union. However, some of the buildings and lecture theatres are starting to look a bit dated, even 1/2 in buildings that look modern elsewhere. I also always note on my way into the city centre that the high-rise psychology building is in desperate need of cleaning, it remains somewhat of a blot in the skyline.

The majority of the course has so far been taught in-person, which I personally find much more beneficial than online learning. The online zoom lectures have been an appropriate substitute for in-person teaching when required. Though I am not studying the full first year, due to previous studying, I have found the contact hours reasonable, backed up by the office hours and availability of the university staff.

I really enjoy studying here but the university could have more study spaces.

The living standards are low but the onsite staff were great.
