I feel very great, though only few of us attend face-to-face. However, I am very pleased with the facilities and the way things are going. I will encourage other students to join Arden to achieve their goals.
Facilities
How good are your university's facilities?
Blended learning is very great. It gives you the opportunity to study the way you like and how you prefer to study. You learn confidently in your own environment. There is no rushing out to join public transport to lectures when running late. It is safe and secure way of learning in this pandemic.
Student support
How good is the support offered by the uni? Think both academic (tutors/feedback) and personal (counselling, etc).
The academic tutors are very good in terms of support. Their doors are opened and they would search for you if haven't seen you. They ensure that they support everyone and monitor your progress. This I commend them for as it shows how supportive and goodwill they are to every students.
Counselling I am yet to attend. However, I can draw my inference from the academic support team. The counselling team often sends email to check if anyone needs their support, and show them how to make an appointment if needed,
Local life
Is your university in a good location in terms of distance to accommodation and local amenities?
The location of the university is good. It is accessible using public transport, however, sometimes commuting can be very stressful and disappointing when trains are not running efficiently. You would encounter series of obstacles on the way to lecture, though you set off early. This makes it frustrating and discouraging sometimes if you don't have strong motivation.
Lecturers and teaching quality
What do you like most and least about the way your course(s) are taught?
I like the course structure and the modules. The modules are relevant and well delivered. We experience the theoretical as well as the practical aspect of the learning, so it makes the learning more genuine and relevant.
What I don't like is not having access to the teaching slides. It would save us time of long notes taking and focused on the lectures. It is one thing I would like the university to have a second look at, and address it accordingly.

Career prospects
How does your uni make efforts to increase your employability (careers department, work placements, transferable skills)?
With the careers a workshop is normally organised online for students to interact with entrepreneurs. This I believe will be successful for students.
Work placements is something lacking on the course I am undertaking. The fruitfulness of the course would depend proportionally on internship. Students need to attend placement for even 2 months to gain some experience. I hope with time the university will solve this issue.
Employability training is incorporated in the lectures. Some we do online when at home, however, there is also support available for students with the support team.
