The environment is quiet and Leicester is good for shopping. I like the atmosphere, especially in the library.I also like the students union- there are lots of places for group discussions. I am quite satisfied with the accommodation. I live near the city centre which is really convenient.It's near Morrisons and the Tigers, so it's a good place. The uni has good facilities, comfortable sofas, delicious food and I get lots of help from The Point (located in the SU). My course puts on lots of extra lectures.

I've had lot of health problems, but the uni has been very supportive. They allowed me to retake 2nd year. The lecturers are very supportive. But I must admit, Mary Gee was crap, although people tried to keep it clean. The city life could be better and I don't feel safe. But there is a lots of stuff to do. The facilities are great but costly. NUS membership should be included in the packet. I've help start a society for people with dietary requirements, but these societies need more support from the uni. The SU has good facilities, but stuff are too expensive. I preferred it when the Scholar was opened during the day. You could get cheap drinks and a good pub lunch. The Careers service is good , but it's fairly basic. All in all I love Leicester uni! When its good it's great, but when it's hard it's hard. Uni is completely different from what teacher say in A-level.
