My best experience has been how easy it is to build a community. Whether it’s joining societies, engaging in cultural events, or simply exploring the city with classmates, you instantly feel like you belong. The campus atmosphere is friendly and energising, especially around the Students’ Union. The only difficult experience has been the accommodation demand. University halls get booked very fast, sometimes months before arrival, and many students, especially internationals, find themselves competing for limited spaces. This leads to last-minute scrambling, higher private-rent prices, and uncertainty. If the university expanded its accommodation capacity or improved transparency around allocation timelines, it would significantly reduce stress for incoming students.

Everything is good by far but I really hope that the placement gets better.

University period is the most amazing experience of lifetime. I am having a great time at Newcastle University. Would definitely recommend people to join university. Not only did I learn about my subject course but also learnt team work, social skills, scheduling, submission of projects and assignments before deadlines. Overall, I am having a superb time at Newcastle University and would definitely recommend it.
