This university is really good and I've gained a lot of life experience. It took me a while to adjust to living alone and having to be independent but im sure im not the only one. Now, looking back a year on I have really become more independent and confident. The distance to Falmouth from your hometown really may put you off, but I really hope it doesn't. After a while you will not even notice it and the bonus of Falmouth is you get long breaks. A month at Easter, A month at Christmas and a couple of months for summer really helps to break your time up well.

I am in my first year of Interior Design degree at Falmouth. Initially I was very nervous but I feel I have settled in really well and already made some friends I would consider to be very close with. It was easy to settle in because everyone is in the same boat and they are friendly. I would advise you really not to worry too much, easier said than done.. but you'll soon realise it really was for nothing. I would say its important to get involved as much as possible with your flat mates and your course mates.
