Great campus, and a lot of support from the University and Students' Guild to pursue ideas for improvement. Exeter itself is a bit quiet.

It all depends on the particular lecturer, and how generous they are with their time. It's a social science, and there can be too much political bias, which is frustrating.

The university feels like a clean and environmentally friendly place, despite it being out of the way of the rest of the city the area is beautiful. I cannot comment too greatly on my experience as I live away from the university and travel in for classes, however, there is a great selection of food and drink facilities on campus. The one negative thing I can comment on, as a student that has a different uni experience to the majority, is the lack of parking spaces around the campus, especially car parks that do not require a permit. As someone who has one lecture a week it would not benefit me financially to obtain a parking permit, thus I am quite often stuck for places to park my car.

I thouroughly enjoy lectures that include contact time and some of the staff that lead the course are very helpful, especially considering that i am taking this course part time
