Excellent University will fantastic facilities, incredible staff and friendly atmosphere. It is like home away from home and I a feel lucky to be part of such a caring community.

Facilities

How good are your university's facilities?

A lot has been invested in them, mostly excellent and easily accessible.

Student support

How good is the support offered by the uni? Think both academic (tutors/feedback) and personal (counselling, etc).

Plenty. I wouldn't have got this far without them. Learner Development Service, Wellbeing Service, Student Support Experience Tutors, Personal Tutors, Disability Support Tutors... the list is endless.

Students' union

What do you think of your Students' Union in terms of student representation and facilities?

The new building has just opened, we are growing accustomed to it, the staff are great and very supportive. There is a lot of opportunity available and plenty of things to get involved in.

Local life

Is your university in a good location in terms of distance to accommodation and local amenities?

Its Manchester! Completely thriving.

How would you rate the variety of societies/sports?

A great range, and if there isn't one to accommodate you - make one!

What do you like most and least about the way your course(s) are taught?

I love my course to bits and my lecturers are some of the most amazing people know.

Career prospects

How does your uni make efforts to increase your employability (careers department, work placements, transferable skills)?

They have a lot of internships and opportunities available, and constantly advertise other opportunities students may be available in.

University halls

What do you think about the safety, condition, location and cost of your accommodation?

This has been an ongoing issue, I don't live in student accommodation but it isn't one of the best sides. Though I hear the atmosphere in them is incredible.
