I love my course and the structure of it, I learn alot from the lecturers and they do explain things to us in detail and from scratch. Though, I already knew ,how to use spreadsheets, and the lecturer knew that there will be people in the lecture that already know the basics or are armatures in that area, the lecturer still decided to start from the beginning, which is very good - and more importantly, what I love most is that when explaining the work or a slide to us, they would demonstrate it straight after, ask us what we think to test our knowledge and understanding (one way of keeping us awake) and then try it out, and if it was wrong he would ask us - why we think/believe it is wrong? we try finding out the solutions ourselves, and finally if we are truly stuck he will give us the solutions and explain why it is like that. You learn by doing mistakes and once you've done the mistake you're even more eager to get it right the second time round this is why the lecturer's strategy works 100%. I'm loving it

I really haven't got any complaints about the University of Kent, I think once you have a motive and know what to do to entertain yourself you will never fall into boredom. The only thing that could sometimes be a little bit annoying is the fact that you are on your own - Independence. This made everyone stick to their own work and hardly discuss their work with you also because, university of Kent constantly brings up the fact that you cannot work side by side with somebody in case you may fall into the hands of plagiarism.
