Studying Architecture, I appreciate the leaders being able to understand our strengths and weaknesses and push us in a way where we are pushed outside of our comfort zone in a healthy way to ensure we are being more open minded in our approaches. To live in Nottingham, the diverse range of activities and societies definitely enables one to settle and adapt a lot quicker in an enjoyable way.

Although the content is strong, I do believe there is a lack in exposing us to external opportunities. I have felt at times that I have lost slight guidance of my future as an aspiring architect and I know I would benefit from leaders in the industry giving us experience. Saying that however, it has made more proactive in seeking for work experience outside of the course.

I really appreciated the diverse range of culture within this accommodation and Unite Students would make the effort to put on events for us living there. There were some points I felt unsafe for example when they locked a gate due to misbehaviour of students, leading us to walk a longer route in the dark.

Overall Excellent in most areas, most improvement could be made in the student union to organise more social events to make it more of a central hub on campus.

Final year requires less tutor contact time, however some projects could be supported with a few more content lectures to cover some topics which come up in research projects/group projects.

Most: The feel of the building was great, lovely rooms and facilities. Food was good as part of catered accom. Least: Unable to socialise more on each floor of the building. The social spaces downstairs were nice however smaller rooms for groups of friends on each floor could make spending time with other people easier especially when trying to make friends in first year.
