Best: Internal Communications, good degree, very good industry connections. Worst: expensive area for food (especially for students not living in the city; who commute)

I was 3 weeks late to the university due to a visa complication and the university was highly accommodating of that. They allowed me to start later and I could come to the UK. I have made a lot of friends over the last year and I will be continuing to make more. I feel that Queen's is my home now and although I am thousands of miles away from mine, I still feel the affection and the love from people here. I am proud to be a student ambassador so that I can tell prospective students how enriching the experience at Queen's is.

All my courses and modules are carried out in-class which maximises attention and allows more hands on experience owing to how important practical experience is on engineering courses. The course hours are just enough to not make you exhausted and to make sure everything is taught. The lecturers are highly approachable and they always help out if and when required.

I made 10 friends the first night I moved in and the location was perfect, just a 10 min walk to class. The facilities provided were amazing and I used all of them. The support and security provided was highly commendable. Non-students or non-residents werent allowed in the accommodation post 11 pm which was a great thought and ensured safety of the students.
