The support the uni gives to students academically and outside is really good they are always happy to help and also with chi being a smaller uni it’s more personal so lecturers get to know you more as a person than a number. The only negative I would say don’t go to chi is if all you want is night life and there are no clubs but other than that chi is great

I prefer seminars to lectures as seminars enable us in smaller groups to have more discussion and really help to establish our knowledge and put in practical use. Contact hours are really flexible too.

It’s good as it’s very close to the train and bus station and also like a ten minute walk to town however the the only down side in the free uni busses don’t run very often from Stockbridge compared to fishbourne which isn’t ideal when it’s raining or in winter

the best thing about uni of chi is that everything feels so relaxed and i never feel alone because there’s support for each and every problem.

i have 12 hours of contact time a week, which is great as i get to spend time with my course mates and have plenty of opportunities to ask my tutors questions, but i still have a good amount of time i can spend at home doing my independent learning. I like the assessment types - mostly essay based, with multiple choice question exam for some modules. however, lectures can go on for quite a long time, sometimes finishing at 6pm.

located next to chichester gate - an area filled with popular restaurants and has bowling, a gym, and an arcade. there are buses between stockbridge and campus, but the buses only stop at stockbridge a few times a day so i can never come out of my lecture and hop on a bus straight home, i would have to wait for an hour or two due to the irregularity. it is a 30 minute walk from campus, with plenty of shops on the way, which is great if i need to grab some food or cosmetics as i can do it on my way home from uni.
