the university has been so supportive of me and encouraged me to keep going with my course even when it felt hard. Lecturers are so nice and knowledgable, they are readily available to help when it is needed. I have been offered a lot of opportunities to be able to build my CV and make me stand out once I graduate.

The courses have been good however sometimes I struggle to find a connection between this and nursing on placement. I understand we need background knowledge on it, however I feel more practical skills would be beneficial for me as a student on placement. The facilities are great, simulation labs are amazing I just wish as a mental health nurse I was able to get more time in there like the other nursing subjects do.

I had a bad time at Powys Court unfortunately. We had rats in our kitchen and it was not appropriately responded to by any team. Me and my family felt dismissed by all the stress it had caused and it felt like it was not being dealt with urgency like it should have when there is rats running around the space you are supposed to cook in. The wifi and location were great, located next to city centre so was easy enough to get around. Not super impressed by the accommodation in my first year unfortunately I feel it let the University down the way they dealt with it.

Amazing course! Amazing lecturers! Wouldn't be where I am now without them. The coure is quite intense but the support makes it totally worth it and gave me the ability to complete.
