I chose University Centre Reaseheath, because of the provided courses, facilities (Mini Zoo) and localisation. I really enjoy studying and I think it was the best decision I made by choosing Reaseheath.

Reaseheath provides vital equipment (eg laptops). It's a clean, friendly environment and its facilities are in hight standard.

I know where I can access it, as we are all well informed.

I study zoo management at University Centre Reaseheath. Majority of our lectures are online. We have only 2 hours per week of practical sessions, which are great, but unfortunately not enough. Our tutors are passionate, knowledgeable and experienced in different fields. Unfortunately lockdowns haven't been great for students, as we lost some presious hours of practical sessions and staring at the computer proved to be hard to stay focused and motivated.. but our great tutors try hard to keep our focus on the end goal.

I'm not sure how I am going to be prepared for the zoo industry with just 2 hours of practical sessions per week. It's simply not enough; we need more 'hands on' sessions.

I have thoroughly enjoyed the course however due to the pandemic, my mental well being and lack of support from the university I have had to defer half of my course. I hope when I return in September to complete my QTS placement, I will be provided with more support.

I have not been able to visit the University of Chester however the institution that I complete the QTS side of the course is very accessible with great facilities.
