Chester Business School is an incredible place to study! The support from lecturers and support departments is unmatched. Tim, Maeve and the rest of the tourism/events team are amazing. The facilities are good, the library has a great range of resources available and they will always try to find new books/journals if they're not already available. It would be good if the uni could reconsider its timings for lectures - as they have a large number of commenting students, it would be good if they started at 9:30 and finished before 5 to give students a better chance of getting to and from lectures.

The option for a placement year is an incredible opportunity and the support from the university to find successful placements is really great. It provides students with industry experience and helps to set us apart from other graduates. It would be good if there was an option for online/hybrid option for more classes, especially for third years, as with the high number of commenting students, it takes a LOT more time out of your day to do a 3.5hr round trip for a 2 hr lecture.

Best experiences are the trips which allow us to put our theory work into real life situations, as well as all the clubs and societies you can join. The worst aspects are how late the socials are which is not great in the winter time when it gets dark.

The best aspects are getting to meet loads of highly qualified lecturers and hear about their experiences. I have yet to find any bad points!
