- Interesting classes, nice classmates, the location/campus (Merchiston), the library, the societies (fun). - When attendance is really low in the classes. Not finding your classrooms in the beginning (a map?).

- interesting content, discovering books you'd never read otherwise, discussions (in-class), learning about the contexts, good communication with lecturers, good tutorials. - low attendance in tutorials, when lecturer does not have a powerpoint (hard to focus) or does not upload material, missing information for your assessments, tutorial not covering everything they were supposed to (practise for assessments).

what I like most: meeting people, not living alone, walking distance to campus, not too far from city centre, nice view, easy to apply for as an international student, shops close to accommodation, good room size. what could be improved: value for money? yes, a good price to live in this city, but the ceilings and walls have some stains, there is mold from previous tenant around the windows, some facilities/equipments were not properly cleaned before moving in (toaster, kettle, oven, shower), the mattress could be improved.

I recieved excellent support from lecturers and have grown as a person.

Lecturers are very accessable and the support for mental health is excellent.

I've heard that it's expensive and closes early.

Edinburgh is a beautiful place to live but it's expensive and affordable nightlife is limited

I had to join a society at Edinburgh Uni because none at Napier interested me.

It's a contemporary and up to fate course with passionate lecturers.

I think it has done a lot to help prepare me, but it's difficult to get a job with an arts degree.
