It’s a great place to study in, because the people are very kind and the campus organically blends into the city, meaning you don’t have to travel to go to the city from campus or vice versa. The uni could improve some minor things, such as an introductory session on how to use Canvas at the start of the year, and perhaps have a university bulletin with events and societies sent to everyone’s email each week.

The course is very creative and allows you to think in various different ways. However, the interaction with tutors has not been good as I have not had any contact from mine. In addition, the course can become to artistic at times, sacrificing practical architectural skills and thought processes.

The rooms are comfortable with enough space for what you need, and the price is very good to be able to have an en-suite. However, the location isn’t great, and if you are allocated to the older buildings (Turner Court), your rooms and shared spaces are much more out of date and lack certain facilities that other buildings have (e.g TVs). In addition, the hot water for the building stops working every couple of weeks, which is not what you expect to be paying for.
