The tutors are professional and clearly have a high level of knowledge on every topic area. They treat students like people and are focused on supporting us on the course and also emotionally and physically - giving advice on where to find research but also where to find trusted people to talk to about any issues we face. There is a very wide range of high quality tech to hire out and the studios are spacious and easy to use. At the start of the course we had workshops on studio shooting and using digital and film cameras that helped all of us, from people who had never done photography before to people that just needed a refresher on it. More studios could be helpful with managing the amount of students needing to use it however the only time i’ve had issues with needing to a book a studio is when everyone else needed to book one for before the end of the term so i’m sure it’s not usually an issue.

So far there haven’t been many lectures but the ones that we’ve had have been filled with information and then further discussed in the seminars which are smaller groups which helps. Some workshops have been taught online and the rest of the workshops are very hands on which I like. Any missed sessions are on the online portal too which is really helpful. Additionally, we have plenty of 1-2-1 tutorials which is very personal and you find out what you need to improve and what you need to continue with which i like.

We have had silverfish since moving in and management haven’t done anything about them. Amenities are good though. The location is just annoying with the hill that we’ve got to walk up to get to uni - it puts you off attending especially when ill or the weather is bad. Collecting parcels is easy and the staff are lovely. My flat consists of only art students so we immediately had something in common. Washing machines aren’t great as my clothes never come out smelling clean no matter how much washing detergent I use.
