The lecturers are engaging and passionate, making the learning experience less daunting for those with less confidence. You're pushed to try new things in a welcoming environment, and there is always opportunity to develop your skills within your own chosen niche. However, the campus buildings themselves leave much to be desired - a lot of them are cold and spiritless, and the facilities within them are often quite run down.

There is a good amount of contact time with the lecturers while allowing for the course to be broadly self-driven. With regards to classes in the JMC department, there has not been much progression in learning throughout my university career so far. There not much that has been taught in 4th year that I did not learn in my first two years, and I feel there could be further exploration into more advanced topics than there has been.

The halls were a good size, well maintained - there were many instances of the fire alarm being pulled during the wee hours of the morning, but most people were respectful and fun to be around. I would say that my time in halls in first year set me up for a much better university experience.

Perfect uni & deserves to win best uni awards. The union here is probably one of the best out of the rest of the uni's in Glasgow. I would definitley recommend this uni over any other.
