Teaching quality is sometimes poor

Studying at the University of Exeter has been a really positive experience for me. The campus is beautiful and peaceful and the lecturers are supportive and easy to talk to. The library and study spaces are excellent there’s always a quiet spot to focus and get work done. I really like that the university has a friendly and welcoming community, with lots of societies and events to join. The city itself is safe, comfortable, and easy to get around with everything close by. However, living costs can be quite high and the assessments can be challenging. It’s not always easy to achieve top marks unless you prepare very thoroughly. Overall, Exeter is a wonderful place to study, offering a great balance of academic quality and student life. It could be improved by making accommodation and living costs a bit more affordable for students.

My course is really well structured and covers a wide range of useful topics. The lecturers explain things clearly and are always happy to help when I have questions. Most of the teaching is in-person which I find more engaging and there’s also good use of online materials for extra learning. The coursework and assessments are challenging but they really help you understand the subject in depth. The feedback from lecturers is detailed and helps me improve each time. Sometimes the workload can feel quite heavy, especially when assignments come close together but it’s manageable with good time planning. Overall, I’m very happy with my course it’s interesting well organized and gives me the skills I’ll need for my future career.
