Bristol, UWE Open Days

An open day is when a university opens its doors to prospective students, letting you take a good look at the learning facilities, accommodation and social spaces.

Unis have open days throughout the year, though you will find will schedule their events from October to December and around June and July. Some unis have virtual tours that do you can at any time.

Yep! Open days are free to attend. Keep in mind that you do need to book your spot on an open day in advance.

They exist to help you figure out which uni is the right one for you, so you can go to as many (or as few) open days as you like – as long as you get the information that you need from them.

The first thing you'll most likely do is go a tour of the university campus, the lecture halls, classrooms and the student accommodation. After that, you might get to go to a talk or practice lecture, and you'll probably have time to ask questions to the lecturer or other students. You should also take the opportunity to explore the local area to see what it's like if you've not visited the city or town before.
