My experience at Queen’s has genuinely been outstanding, and the Students’ Union is a major reason why. The support, facilities, and sense of community here are truly unmatched. The Union creates an environment where every student feels included, supported, and celebrated. From the quality of services to the variety of events, everything is organised with so much care and professionalism. Coming from India, I never expected—nor had I ever seen—facilities and events like these before. The SU has given me opportunities, friendships, and experiences that I will always treasure. The events are vibrant, the staff are incredibly helpful, and the campus atmosphere is always welcoming. It has made Queen’s feel like home from the very beginning. Honestly, I have no “worst part” to mention. My experience with the Queen’s Students’ Union has been nothing short of exceptional. I truly hope the SU wins No.1 in the UK again next year—they deserve it, and I’m proud to be part of this community.

My experience in the MSc Pharmaceutical Analysis programme has been exceptional from the very first day. The course is incredibly well-structured, combining strong theoretical teaching with hands-on practical work that truly prepares students for industry-level expectations. The access to advanced analytical instruments, expert lecturers, and well-organised laboratory sessions has made the learning experience both exciting and meaningful. Coming from India, I had never seen facilities, laboratories, and teaching standards at this level before. The level of support, guidance, and resources provided has exceeded all my expectations. Every module feels relevant, up-to-date, and aligned with what the pharmaceutical industry actually needs. For me, there have been no worst aspects—the course consistently offers high quality learning, excellent lab exposure, and a supportive academic environment. I genuinely feel that this programme is shaping me into a confident and skilled professional, and I am proud to be part of it.

Queen’s has one of the most beautiful and convenient university locations. Everything you need is within walking distance—cafés, supermarkets, gyms, peaceful study spots, and amazing green areas like the Botanic Gardens. The campus feels safe, student-friendly, and full of life. Being close to the city centre while still having a calm, university-focused environment makes it the perfect balance. It genuinely feels like a small student city within a bigger city. Coming from India, I never expected such a clean, organised, and scenic university area. The atmosphere around Queen’s is something I had never experienced before. Is there anything that’s not so great? For me, nothing stands out as a negative. My experience with the location has been fully positive—I’ve never had anything to complain about.

The Student Union has weekly events depending on the season and holidays, they give out free things frequently, the Union Bar is always busy which their own evening events and there are plenty of seats. I honestly don’t think there are any bad aspects of the university
