Nothing is terrible about the university, but for improvements I could suggest making it easier for students to travel to normal site lectures or any lectures across Menai bridge as walking can take up to 45 minutes from certain locations where there isn’t many public transport options

Bangor Uni provides many opportunities for both socialising and working experience. With a close community it is easy to make connections with other students and find friends.

Bangor University is a great place to study because it has a supportive learning environment and friendly lecturers who are approachable. I really like the peaceful location between the mountains and the sea — it helps me focus and feel calm. The campus community is welcoming, and being involved in events makes student life more enjoyable and less stressful.

They are now charging for societies and clubs, which was not the case previously. The best experience is definitely the area where the university is located. It’s so beautiful.

The best things are definitely the location of the University. It's surrounded by Snowdonia and other really beautiful places. The Uni itself has good facilities, the libraries aren't too overcrowded and are really nice. All the staff are really great at supporting you and I feel like they're passionate about their jobs and always want to help. My least favorite thing is probably that it does feel like there are few things to outside of Uni. There aren't many shops or parks to go to, as well as other things like cinemas or amusement things. But the train and bus links do help with that.
