What happens on the course?
The Master's of Science Professional Practice in Healthcare (Teaching and Learning) pathway has a strong emphasis on the evaluation and development of both clinical practice and research and encourages participants to reflect critically on workplace experiences and learning.
The course aims to provide a clear framework, which supports CPD, recognition of prior learning, and work-based learning. You will access the MSc Professional Practice in Healthcare (Teaching and Learning) using the recognition for prior Learning process. You will bring in 60-credits through the completion of a Postgraduate Certificate in Education which has been recognised by Advanced HE.
You need an existing Postgraduate Certificate which has been recognised by Advanced HE (within the last 5 years). You must be a Healthcare registrant currently employed in a health or social care setting. You will be required to apply for Recognition of Prior Learning with advanced standing of 60 credits, only in the form of an existing Post Graduate Certificate which has been recognised by Advanced HE (completed in the last 5 years prior to entry).
