Swansea University has been so welcoming to me since I started out. The lecturers are so great because they know how to balance visual presentation in lectures and important information and that for me has been a great learning experience and still is as I am a visual learner. The way the learning is active its encouraging and I would choose a face to face lecture any day over online, the information is delivered by people who clearly have a passion for what they are doing and they are an inspiration, their backgrounds in academia makes me want to aspire something I truly love and Swansea gives me that feel. It is a great place to study without any disturbances, the facilities are top tier, and it is greatly and easily accessible, I can study till late hours at the library have a warm meal and coffee if I want because they also have a kitchen. Though I am not a sporty person I have seen how good their sport facilities are and their influence in uni sport. It truly is a great place to be as a young adult. I love that no matter the weather that day the place is always aesthetic. As for the worst aspects it's not something mentioning because the only thing I can think of is maybe that they need to add more variability in food stalls or eating places however I am grateful for the way every was placed.

Loads of support. Friendly environment from day 1 and we are treated like adults unlike sixth form. Appreciative of the diversity of different backgrounds, really interesting. Grateful for being here.

My time studying Applied Medical Science at Swansea University has been a positive experience. The support systems, from my personal mentor to the Centre for Academic Success and the Wellbeing Service, have been reliable and effective. The academic staff in my department are very friendly, and I have gained both mentorship and professional etiquette through their guidance. I had the opportunity to participate in Medical School employability workshops and conferences, which allowed me to network and speak with professional people. These experiences gave me clarity. Before joining Swansea University, my career direction was uncertain. Now, I have a clear professional path and a high level of confidence in the steps ahead.

The university supports you very well with any personal issues that one can experience, including mental health. I was being bullied by another peer student and the university was very quick to act, investigate and even ready to take legal actions. The only thing that can improve is the food options on campus! Otherwise, this is a great university.
