COURSE OVERVIEW
Medical and Health Care Studies is available as a PhD, MPhil, and MSc by Research and is based around four key research themes: Biomarkers and Genes; Devices; Microbes and Immunity; Patient and Population Health and Informatics. These programmes are suitable for candidates whose research interests relate to these topics and who want to explore complex medical problems.

Applicants for Msc by Research must normally hold an undergraduate degree at 2.1 level (or Non-UK equivalent as defined by Swansea University).
