I feel safe and comfortable around the campus and it always seems clean in general. The toilets are always stocked with period products as well which I really appreciate and there are a lot of areas to go and sit to chat with friends and have a break from studies.

Best part is that I feel no other university could have supported my mental and physical health better. Part of this was linked to falling ill from lack of affordability for necessities. Not only could the university provide a part time job for me they also have their free meal days three times a week. As for disability and inclusion team they efficiently sort out adjustments which can be communicated directly to them or through your lecturers. On my course teachers are efficient, adapt and will be as empathetic towards your situation as much as possible passing on extensions, spending one to one personal sessions to catch up outside of lesson time and are overall feeding directly off of what the students want to see to give different career experiences. From historic clothing to theatre to comic conventions. It's important for us to network with who we already have here aswell as the university handing out personal advice on where to search for jobs, build a CV, keep the freedom needed to self explore skills and teachers recommending students to their own links. Accommodation is affordable with decent procedures in place for maintenance, cleaning and security and they prioritise people with disabilities to continue using the accommodation options in year 2 and 3. I feel it could be improved is having staff on site who could help students commute to the 'local' AnE if they are in an emergency or can't afford transport. Even though they have funds to help with taxi costs if an emergency were to happen from 6pm onwards whether the student is in accommodation or on campus the ambulance service is known to be unreliable and physically moving someone disabled isn't easy. They have one wheelchair for the whole of Hughenden but there's no materials to support sudden loss of walking if a student still needed to travel for needing necessities or to continue study. Students are also limited in travel options if the AnE keeps them for a long period of time past midnight. It's at least a 40 minute drive there. So if you don't have family or friends around it's difficult.

I love how caring they are towards students , but I dislike the lack of communication between the staff in my specific couese

So far it’s been great and lots of things to keep you preoccupied between lessons and a good variety of societies to take part in

There are so many best aspects of Bucks New University, such as the facilities, like the library and the textiles/costume workshops, teaching, support of students especially those in difficult circumstances and communal/food spaces. The only aspect of uni experience at Bucks New University that could be better is transportation to/from uni.
