Buckinghamshire New University is spread across three buzzing campuses: High Wycombe, Uxbridge, and Aylesbury. High Wycombe is your main hub, where most things happen. It's a campus with top facilities like specialist art and design studios, film and TV production studios, and a well-equipped gym. If you're a health-care student, you'll head to Uxbridge, where you'll find state-of-the-art clinics and learning labs, and gain invaluable hands-on experience.
The Students' Union ranks 6th in the UK (WUSCAs 2025) and provides free access to clubs, societies, sports teams, and plenty of campus events. This even includes free bar and club nights! Uni life at BNU is about making friends, trying new things and enjoying the student experience.
There's a free bus service between the High Wycombe and Uxbridge campuses which means it's easy to stay connected.

High Wycombe is a lively town, with plenty of bars, restaurants, shops and street markets. Just outside, you'll find some beautiful countryside which is ideal for getting some fresh air and going weekend exploring.
Aylesbury has direct trains to the capital, and from Uxbridge, you can get on a tube and be in central London in no time. In London, you can explore all the iconic sights like Big Ben, the London Eye and South Bank, as well as bars, restaurants, clubs and vibrant street markets.

Buckinghamshire New University offers a Career Success team that's dedicated to helping its students strengthen their job prospects. There are frequent careers events throughout the year and many opportunities to develop your employability.
At Buckinghamshire New University, you'll gain industry knowledge and hands on, practical experience. The university offers a range of work-based projects and placement opportunities across its courses, and is dedicated to giving you the right skills, contacts and experience to excel in your chosen pathway.
As a current student or graduate, you'll get the chance to book a one-to-one careers meeting with an industry mentor to discuss plans, work on your CV, or practice your interview techniques.
You'll also get access to the university's careers platform, MyBucksCareer where you can make use of a range of careers resources, like mock interviews, CV guides and listed job opportunities. At Buckinghamshire New University, you'll find a choice of three student halls in High Wycombe offering 885 rooms. All are within walking distance of the uni's main campus, as well as the town centre and transport links. Students who are studying at Uxbridge and Aylesbury can stay in High Wycombe and use the free shuttle bus to get to and from halls and uni.
BNU guarantees a place in halls to all new students joining as long as you make your accommodation application before 31 August.
Prices vary from £99 to £206 per week depending on room type and location. Rent includes bills, Wi-Fi and contents insurance. All uni accommodation has 24/7 laundry facilities, as well as security services.
Buckinghamshire New University's Accommodation Team offers guidance and support to make sure you settle in easily. There is also a team of on-site senior residents at each halls to provide pastoral support and can help with anything you may need. They are uni experienced and also first aid trained.

Buckinghamshire New University (BNU) understands the difficulties that some students may face and offers a range of scholarships and bursaries to support you with the cost of living and studying. These don't need to be paid back, and they can make a big difference during your time at uni.
If you're a care leaver or estranged from your family, you could receive the Care Leaver or Estranged Student Bursary, which gives you £1,000 per year, year-round accommodation, and a dedicated mentor to support you throughout your studies.
If you're from a low-income household or a highly deprived area, you may be eligible for the BNU Success Bursary to help you progress and support your studies. This is also worth £1,000 per year.
BNU also offers support for asylum seekers, refugees, and students from Gypsy, Traveller, or Roma backgrounds. The Refugee Scholarship offers £2,600 for each year of your course and covers your tuition fee costs. The BNU Asylum Seeker Scholarship offers up to £10,000 each year along with your tuition fee costs.
Most bursaries need you to meet a specific criterion and will ask that you apply directly through BNU. You may need to provide some documents, such as proof of income or your background.

BNU has three terms with public holiday breaks and exam periods in between:
Welcome Week at BNU takes place on High Wycombe campus and usually runs at the end of September. It offers a lively fortnight of orientation activities, including Freshers' Fair, clubs and societies tasters, social events with free pizza, campus tours, and Students' Union gatherings.
Tuition fees for UK undergraduates in 2025/26 are £9,535, with possible increases in later years. International fees vary by course. View the course pages to find further details.
