Best aspects- It’s a smaller University campus than most, giving it a more intimate feel. You know everyone on campus, and it makes it easy to get more independent support from the services the University offers. It also makes it more comfortable getting involved. Worst aspect- Location is a drawback for the University, it is incredibly difficult to get around if you do not have a car.

I'm currently studying BSc animal behaviour and welfare at Myerscough, the campus is lovely and the lecturers are all really understanding and helpful. The only downfalls are that the location isn't close to the town centre so it can be difficult to get to shops if you don't drive (there are buses though).

As a part of this degree, you’ll also learn to consider how to design efficient machines to help solve societal issues such as feeding a growing population. Your degree may offer you a work placement, allowing you to get hands-on experience. If you’re interested in postgraduate study, you could study a related engineering master’s degree. Popular careers for agricultural engineering graduates are usually in the agricultural industry, but you could pursue roles from marketing and sales to production to research and development.
