They have greatly helped shape my work by discussing topics of research and suggesting themes for chapters that I write. As such, the content of the course is essentially the advice and materials being shared by my supervisors. The best part of my course has been the teaching hours that I have been given in order to develop my lecturing and planning skills. I have really enjoyed these opportunities. I also really enjoy my monthly meetings with my supervisors as they help me to reenergise myself and attack my research more enthusiastically afterwards.

I think the best thing about YSJ is their facilities. The library has a lot of different spaces, good wifi, computers, etc. Also there is always something to do in the student union, a lot of events. Something to improve would be the cantine food serving and more variety

I like the way of teaching as it makes you think and have your own criteria about the topics. The professors help a lot and the course hours are perfect

York is a small city but enough to feel safe

That is really close to the uni and also the city center, unlike other accommodations that don’t belong to the university. The price could be cheaper but for being York is a fair price.
