The library facilities are amazing however there isn’t a lot of seating so it’s beast to go early. I think student support could be improved, they’re not too keen to help unless you have a diagnosis (this may just be my opinion)

With it being joint honours, the timetable is a bit all over the place. You select modules you want to do but you’re put in classes with people who either do history OR religion full time so a lot of the content is taught to them but not to us.

York feels like a really safe space compared to other northern cities. There are lots of opportunities, especially for the degree I do, to enhance your learning outside of the classroom.

student union not up to par but otherwise a perfect university with amazing professors and location

can get difficult at times but lots of support available

Wifi let it down, however very safe, gate shut after certain hours but great value for money
