The facilities are clean, modern, spacious. The library is large and great! All staff I have interacted with have been super helpful and kind and make it easy to ask for help. In terms of mental health support it is readily available and easy to access online. The moodle and nest page is well formatted and easy to navigate. All the information for course deadlines and weekly lectures is easy to access and understand and all in one place. The way the moodle page is set out makes it easy to find information and stay organised, its a well structured site. My colleagues on my course are some of the nicest, welcoming and helpful people I've met, everyone is so willing to provide each other with support whether that be in terms of advice or academic resources. I live at home, and being on a masters course I never interacted with any societies or uni activities so cannot comment on those. The careers advice I accessed was very personal, detailed and helpful. To improve I would suggest spacing out assessments more and providing more statistics help

My course has a blended structure which I enjoy. The in person teaching is usually interactive and interesting, delivered by passionate lecturers. I will say, certain lecturers deliver better lectures than others. One improvement I would say is there is a lecturer who gets us to 'prepare presentations' to teach each other about the subject but I find this method is not conducive to the best learning. I recognise that teaching people is a good way of ensuring you understand content but for this to occur we need to have an underlying basis of knowledge to start with. Also there is a reason why the lecturer/professor is the expert and is in the teaching role: that is to teach. We are the students and we want to learn from the professor's vast expertise and knowledge. The way this particular lecturer sets out these presentations leaves little room for feedback or improvement after we have delivered said presentations meaning the learning gained from these seminars is limited. Furthermore, when it is a technique that is utilised in all of the sessions delivered by said professor it comes across as a lazy teaching method, and it is apparent that its a method for the professor to not prepare much or do anything throughout sessions whilst we 'work independently' on our presentations. Other than this I would say the teaching is great, and the contact hours is just right for me, doesn't feel too much or too little.
