I feel like what really makes Worcester a great place to study is the lecturers themselves. Rarely would you find one that cannot hook your interest and keep you truly vested in your topic. Coming to university does not feel like a chore that you must get through there's something exciting in going because you never really know what your lecturer will bring to the table this time around. I think the true heart and soul in a university is how students and lecturers interact with each other and its this interaction that I think makes Worcester so great. Student Support is also really great, honestly without them I probably would not have had the chance to go off and study abroad in Japan that I am currently doing. So a special thanks must go to Cristina Muradore and the International Student Mobility staff. However while I wouldn't call the Student's Union bad, it does feel lacking. To me I know it exists but I don't really know how their existence impacts my studies at Worcester. So there feels like a little bit of a disconnect there.

Classes are now taught in person, there is generally a mix of interactive sessions. Sometimes you will mostly listen to the lecturer but the moments when student participation come into play are really where the classes shine best. Maybe I just had great luck with some genuinely enthusiastic history students but I find that generally a sort of discursive momentum builds up sometimes to the point where we go on for a bit too long. It is also very easy to get in touch with your lecturers, who are often very willing to provide help and advice for your classes. This is particularly true when it comes to providing invaluable advice for your assignments. While the sessions tend to be long three hour lectures or seminars it is actually pretty great as you are left with plenty of time for extra-curricular activities or just to work on your assignments or earning money. And I can say that while studying in Japan where more often than not the balance between studying and other activities is genuinely very stressful, often I struggle to find the time to do homework as I get home so late. So that's one thing I miss most about Worcester as I study in Japan.

I like the campuses that my University has. All of them have their own special features and make you feel like you're part of a community.

The course content is great and we are taught a variety of topics regarding both psychology and politics. Most of the course is taught in-class, but we have had some online lessons last year. In total, we are expected to attend 10-12 hours of lectures and seminars per week, and in addition to this, we are also required to study independently for roughly 24 hours each week. Getting into contact with lecturers is very easy, they respond to e-mails quite quickly and are always willing to help if you are unsure about something.
