The university is very welcoming to international students; there are various activities and societies to join to increase student life. As an Iranian student I benefited from their supportive attitude when the social and political instability in my country mounted. Academic success team are very supportive, knowledgeable and approachable. University management acknowledges specific situations that students might go through. There is extensive combination of nationalities in LJMU which made student life even more exciting. Academic staff are knowledgeable and professional; I am now looking for PhD opportunities here as I found their areas of research vast and exciting. Areas of improvement would be charting ways to ease off legislative barriers to international students with strong professional background to enter employment market. So far the opportunities are restricted to those who are fresh and mostly studying undergrads. Professional placement helps students with extensive professional background find suitable jobs that can lead to skilled worker VISA later on. All in all, I am so happy that I’ve chosen LJMU of all the universities in the UK that I got admission from. Keep up with the great work

The course is taught here in person which is great. We had the perfect opportunity to discuss subject areas with classmate interactively. If there was a summer semester to be dedicated to dissertation it would be easier for us to concentrate on assignments during spring semester, which I suppose has been addressed for next cohort’s timeline.

There has been ongoing maintenance in the accommodation and we had incidents of disrespectful and inconsiderate behaviors from accommodation staff and maintenance staff. The location, rent, and atmosphere of the accommodation is fantastic through.

It’s in a great location in terms of the city and the campuses look alive, students are always doing activities and learning. It’s a very welcoming campus and university, I would highly recommend.

The teachers and lecturers are all really friendly and welcoming, they have lots to talk about and are always available to chat. They have helped me through some difficult times as well as supporting me to achieve the best outcome I can obtain from my course.
