I love studying in Leeds as it's in the city centre, everything is accessible and there's lots of things to do associating with the arts such as the museums, Leeds Playhouse and events. Within the arts, there's a lot of crossover between courses so we collaborate often and produce amazing work. This also helps us make new friends with people in different courses and work together on future projects. I haven't had the best experience with the casework team at Leeds Beckett however it's not as a collective. Just certain people who haven't been as understanding and helpful as I'd thought they would be.

We have a lot of theatre space to work with which is essential and beneficial for performance and rehearsal. Tutors are reliable and helpful when booking a tutorial for help or any current issues within class or just for a check-up. Performing arts is a very practical course which requires a lot of in-class time so we are in for at least 15 hours a week and I think that is fair and reasonable considering most work relies on collaboration and full group attendance. As mentioned previously, there's crossover between courses which allows us to branch out and create work with other students and learn other things.

The prices have increased since last year and its barely affordable if not too expensive to live here considering student loan is reduced over the 3 years. The location is perfect as it's a 5 minute walk from uni and everything else.

Leeds Beckett university is a great place to study as there is a wide array of spaces for you to be able to go and do independent study while still having access to teachers and resources, it’s a well rounded environment with a great atmosphere. The only improvement would be more eating spaces as they tend to fill quickly but other than that it’s incredibly.
