Everyone at the uni wants to help you succeed so you will never be without support. You will also be given access to the best possible resources and experts to help you not only during your degree, but once you start your career too. Things around the campus can sometimes seem a bit disorganised or poorly planned (like maintenance work in the middle of exam season or technical IT glitches) but I think that's just a product of being such a large institution with so many moving pieces.

The nursing facilities are excellent! The medical school joins directly onto QMC so it often doesn't even feel simulated - it feels real. The tutors, facilitators and lecturers are experts in their areas - I'm often left a little starstruck after realising I've written their name out 1000 times in reference lists and love their literature. You can tell that everyone in the department is dedicated to the future of nursing and appreciates their position in one of the best places in the country for nurse training and practice development.

The facilities for nursing students are great as there are simulated patients and scenarios that help us gain lots of experience and prepare us for practice. The location is brilliant as it is in attached to the hospital and is very easy to get to for me. There are many student support services so that is good however communication from staff is not always the best and some staff members are not very supportive.

The course content is very enjoyable however it does not always cover all issues with diversity and inclusion which I think needs addressing. Career prospects are brilliant for nurses at the moment so can't fault that. Tutor contact time could be improved by better responses and quicker response time from tutors.
