The best parts include the student community and student lifestyle including activities offered by the students union. the course itself is rewarding and interesting. However i find that a lack of support has made the course more difficult. furthermore the workload of healthcare courses compared to other courses makes me feel as though i cannot participate in student life as much.

i think that the course setup is good as the time that we spend learning online is limited which i find beneficial due to struggling to concentrate during online lectures. i enjoy workshops and seminars which we have frequently as i find them engaging. in person contact with lecturers could be improved, however i find that they are easily contactable via email and helpful in answering any questions and concerns.

i think that the rent was high for my uno halls when considering the facilities and management available there. there was a lack of communal areas and it was sometimes difficult to have issues delt with by property managers. the facilities were good(en-suite, double bed lots of storage) however the communal area (Kitchen/living room) was too small making it hard to socialise with flatmates and be present in the communal areas, cooking was also difficult.

Cardiff University has been good in supporting me wherever needed. The staff have always been helpful and friendly. The main university and SU are in a great area for socialisation with lots of amenities. However, the healthcare courses are a bit further out. If I were to improve anything, I would like consistency with the timetabling .

As a student nurse, I have enjoyed all the placements I have had and have received good support throughout. The staff are great, but I would like there to be more support with how to write assignments and advice when going up the levels. I have found much of the content of my course misses a depth of essential learning specific to my area.
