Brighton is a brilliant place to study as its campus is vibrant and has a modern, studying feel. Brighton itself is a beautiful city with plenty of things to do and see. The accomodation on campus is so lovely and it’s where I was last year, it felt so safe and comfortable and clean it was very pleasant to live in. The student union could be improved and could be made a bigger space with more societies to offer. Also the cafes on campus could be refurbished and sometimes they do lack cleanliness.

The best aspects of the course is how it is accessible in person or online. Personally, due to family circumstances I have had to be at home a lot this year but “my brighton” makes everything so easily accessible to me on line and available to be caught up on lectures ready for when I return to Brighton. The course content is good for covering all aspects of law over the 3 years, and focuses heavily on essay work and referenced answers, preparing us for after university when we do take those placements and work experiences, we will be trained for doing that. I think that the lecturers could be improved and the style of lectures and seminars and it is easy to fall behind due to the large capacity of law students in the room and the fast paced lecture slides it can be hard to keep up sometimes.

Personally, I loved halls. I felt so incredibly safe and happy and I lived in a 10 person flat and met friends for life who I live with now. Mithras halls is such a sociable accomodation where there is the student bar downstairs with pool tables and air hockey etc. There are also student nights happening there most weeknights which are a great way to meet new people. As for my room itself, I thoroughly enjoyed having a spacious modern room with an en-suite and all my supplies in one room. It felt so homely and clean and like a home away from home which I loved. The kitchen space was lovely and spacious too, which was necessary for our 10 person flat. I think that in our situation, we would have benefitted by having an extra fridge and freezer as 10 people’s food and drink had to fit in 2 fridge freezers. Overall, Mithras was a brilliant accomodation and would reccomend it to anybody looking to come to Brighton Uni.

Amazing support system for student and really good teaching. Transport to uni from student accommodation is awful but apart from that not many other complaints .

Lectures and seminars are good however there isn't much contact time . Also do not know about career opportunities or work placements so cannot say how good they are from here. I do not really know my tutor and think I have met her once. overall decent nevertheless.

Decent for the price however awful location and bus service is terrible and unreliable. The heating is also awful in the building and maintenance takes a while to sort things out. Wi-Fi drops out all the time which can be very frustrating as I try to work and live there.
