As a new student, everything has been great so far. However, I would suggest adding a campus tour, either in-person or virtual, as part of the induction. It would greatly help new students in locating buildings and classrooms, making the transition smoother.

The classes haven’t started yet, so I cannot comment on the teaching aspects. However, the induction process has been well-organized, and I’m looking forward to the course experience.

I love the fact that the University of Huddersfield provides step-by-step support to students, from guiding them through the online portal to offering campus tours and detailed help with every process. It really shows how much the university cares about helping students settle in and succeed.

Contact with lecturers is generally strong, and office hours, emails, and online discussion boards are well-used.
