Being in a historical city and having a campus filled with nature is definitely my favourite part. To improve, it would be better if the student union were given more funding, as lots of the student bars and societies are suffering from lack of financial aid. This would also help people like myself, on a low income, if we could be given more financial help for extra curricular activities.

The lectures are hard to follow due to the fast pace, especially when lecturers do not upload the slides so I am unable to follow along with what they are saying. It is also frustrating that I am having lectures/ seminars in lots of science buildings rather than the history department. Some of these lecture halls are like classrooms as well, meaning people are in the way of the whiteboard, I don't like the school feeling this gives, and has caused me to purpously skip many lectures so I can watch them back at my own pace once the powerpoint is uploaded.

The room was infested with Silverfish and it took from Jan-March for the University to take action and provide me with a new room. Our front door often did not lock, meaning our friends could just walk in without a key card, again this wasn't taken seriously. The location however was beautiful.

I think that the university of York is a really good university, there is lots to do and great opportunities to make the most of. It's great ! I am enjoying my time at the university and enjoy being part of socieities like badminton.

I think that the university facilities are good, can't think of anything that can be improved about them.

The support on campus that I can think of are college tutors

The Student Union here is good.

My favourite thing to do in the city is walk around and explore.

I am part of the badminton society, which is ok.

The best thing about my course is the choice of period topic; however I would not recommend this university for my course which is history

Not too sure how easy it will be or not to get a job after university.

My accommodation is very good as it is it new which is why I think it is good value for money.
