Very supportive university with good facilities.

It’s very fast paced which is challenging but I am enjoying it.

As someone doing a top-up degree and joining the university in my final year, I experienced quite a few surprises when adjusting to the new environment and culture. However, one of the best aspects of my university experience has been the study environment. It’s comfortable, well-designed, and gives me the space I need to focus and be productive. The study zones have become like a second home to me. If I could suggest one improvement, it would be to have lockers available within the study zones. This would make it easier for students to store their belongings securely and return to their studies without worrying about carrying everything around.

The best part of my course is how supportive and helpful the lecturers are. They take the time to listen, offer valuable advice, and provide weekly feedback on our work. This has really helped me stay on track and ensure that I’m meeting the course requirements. One area that could be improved is encouraging more group-based activities. Having students work together in small groups on different projects each week would help build teamwork, improve collaboration, and make the class feel more connected as a team.

The best part of the university’s location is how convenient it is. The bus station is just around the corner, and the town is nearby, which makes it really easy for students living in accommodation to get around. I also enjoy going to local cafés to sit and study. Despite being close to a main road, the area is surprisingly quiet, so there’s no noise to disturb my work. What’s not so great is that during busy times, especially around rush hour, the area can get quite crowded and it can take longer to get buses or find a quiet spot.
