University of Leeds is an amazing university, I cannot fault it atall. I don’t know one person who doesn’t love their time there and the city. The student life is lively and buzzing every day. The support is next to none. The facilities are great, I still find out about new ones that I hadn’t heard of even in my third year. The lecturers are engaging and involved in lots of research around the world. Personally, the university have helped me financially, academically and pastorally in so many ways. I am incredibly grateful to them and would recommend it to anyone. They have supported me financially through bursaries and emergency hardship funds. They have supported me academically through flexible mitigating circumstances and the plus programme (for disadvantaged students). And, they have supported me pastorally through student support officers and free counselling. Their study abroad options are also amazing and accessible to anyone. These are just a few points on why the University of Leeds is a great choice!

Sustainability and Environmental Management Bsc is a unique course with great career prospects including some organisations like the United Nations, the Environmental Agency and government. My lecturers have been world renowned experts in their fields therefore the lectures are always engaging and super interesting.

I really didn’t enjoy my first year university halls experience (not due to any faults of the university) so I was weary about trying again in second year. However, Montague Burton was perfect. It is a very short walk to campus (3-5 minutes) and is very secure. The whole atmosphere is a perfect balance as it is social but you can still get rest as the buildings don’t have too many rooms like some of the other accommodations. It’s more like a little community feel. The facilities are great too and the design is modern and bright. It is definitely worth the money as it is one of the cheaper accommodations. The shared bathrooms seriously isn’t an issue so don’t be put off! In flats of 9, there are multiple bathrooms anyway.

I love how close it is to the centre. It could be improved by more structured meetings with tutors

The course is very varied and the optional modules are all really interesting, the worst part is some of the compulsory modules aren’t interesting
