The campus is lovely and well kept, especially for being a farm at the same time - things are kept clean. The facilities are mostly great, although as a commuter I wish there was more consistently quiet spaces (this would also help with any struggles with overstimulation). Otherwise, the shuttle bus is consistent enough for commuting, but I do wish there was still more support for commuters as there has been a massive increase of them this year. One major help for commuters, especially those without a car, would be access to the lockers - they aren't able to be used and when previously asked, no progress was made to actually make them accessible to anyone (although this issue has now been brought up through the helpful support system and should hopefully be resolved!).

My course so far has a wide range of great content to support a future career in many fields, with great opportunities, such as fieldtrips and activities outside of our taught lessons. I enjoy the active outdoor work as it's a good chance to experience the kind of work we may be doing in the future, however I feel that some lectures could be taught online - especially on days where it's the only lecture. This would save a lot of commuters time and money when they could still happily engage with an on-line Teams lecture, etc. However, this may just be more necessary for times when the weather is less reliable, etc. Otherwise, it's a wonderful course.

I've lived locally my whole life, so I am very familiar with Newport (and Edgmond) - it's a lovely town with a variety of shops so almost all needs can be met easily, and the Uni provides transport on weekends directly to Aldi and Lidl, which is much more affordable than some shops around the Highstreet. Although, just taking the shuttle bus in and walking there isn't a major issue, but may be hard with a lot of shopping! I mostly feel safe there, especially in the day - I only feel unsafe at night but that's a given. The Highstreet is pretty safe, but regardless sometimes it isn't the safest, especially the Mainstreet venue. Fights break out very often, and spiking is common. However, it's easy to avoid the venue and go elsewhere - the pubs are much safer, and most are welcoming to students (some of the 'old mans' pubs are a bit cold towards students though). There is access to a few recreational activities (more notably the gym and swimming pool).

Harper Adams is amazing, there are amazing facilities the staff are so supportive, you feel like you are part of a community. the lecturers are great, and bring lots of knowledge from their work. The placement opportunity is fantastic, you get lots of help to get one and help with preparation. The library is great with lots of different working areas so you can find somewhere that you really like to work, the catering facilities are really good and the food is great. there is so many chances to get hands on experience and gain new skills no matter what you are studying.

We are in the countryside not a city and that is why I love it
