I enjoy the student union and the events that we as a whole offer. The opportunities here to get involved and interact with the university are good. I like the environment that this university creates. I feel like at UWE the uni cares deeply about the sustainability of the planet and puts lots of effort into being one of the best universities to be at in this regard. I only have two gripes about my time at UWE Bristol. I believe that there needs to be some sort of revamp or prerequisites it takes to be student union president due to the controversy that happened last election. The staff and teaching at UWE have been excellent at times and I wish that the university could pay the staff a reasonable wage so that strikes wouldn't happen as often as they did last year as it affected my understanding of modules and thus my grades.

I kind of wish I had a bit more contact time last year, but that was an issue with strikes. The course content was good and it flowed quite well into future modules. Some modules were really tough but I felt like a lot of effort was put into them to make them easier to access and understand in addition to making annual changes between years to make it better for everyone. The fact that there weren't many written exams was quite beneficial during the exam period.
