Dance is intense. This course is physical, engaging and incredibly challenging with the addition of academic written modules too. You need to be someone who can handle a high level of commitment, research and theorising whilst also being engaged in the physical classes and your own practice. It is hard but in my personal opinion it is very worth it and Falmouth definitely offers a very good dance degree. The location of Falmouth itself is beautiful and very worthwhile coming to live near.

Beautiful campus, relatively small friendly student body, creating a friendly atmosphere around campus. There are lots of great and really helpful services for anything you need help with.

Library has everything you could need, plenty of space to study and is a really nice environment.

Plenty of services if you need help with anything, and lecturers and the mentoring scheme aid with getting you the support if you need it.

Large party events almost every week, themed and with great music. A great bar with events on every night including open mic and quiz night. Tons of great societies to join.

Falmouth town is full of shops and restaurants and bars to enjoy. Linked to the uni by a subsidised bus service. Night life is fairly limited, but means you will always see a friendly face will out on student night.

Loads of great societies for anything you could want to take up, especially sports. Also there is the opportunity to set up a new society.

Thoroughly enjoying my course and have got on well with all lecturers. All of my lecturers clearly care about how well I do, but also about me as a person.

Opportunities made available to you and some sent to your personal email, career and volunteering fairs regularly to find out more about your job prospects and other paths. Training on the course aided towards increasing your job prospects.

Fairly new accommodation that is looked after well, any problem you find is fixed quickly and easily by the maintenance team nearby. On campus the atmosphere is great as we all live so close together.
