Its a lovely campus feel, nice and small so you know everyone and everyone knows you. Feels very safe. However transport to and from campus isn't great and parking is difficult and expensive. Student support is okay but could be better, for example more funding to help people who need more support but who don't qualify for whatever reason for DSA support. Accommodation services could be more dynamic, and the students union are not great at catering to healthcare courses, for example we are here most of the year but they only run during term time which can feel quite isolating.

If a student is experiencing really hard life situations, they are supportive, they listen, they provide options so the students continue their degrees and achieve their goals. As for what could be improve, I would say the timetables, could be more flexibles, allowing students to kind of choose their timetables rather than mandatory. However, I say this for the BSc Com puter Science programme, I am not sure about the others.

Studying at the University of Gloucestershire was the best choice I made to improve my career. Being an international student, I anticipated a great number of changes as a new entrant into the UK, but the truth is that my school has made it so easy for me to settle in and adapt to everything. From my first day in school at the Oxstalls campus, I met friendly faces and super helpful staff and had no difficulties navigating the campus. Systems and processes are seamless, the technology is pretty impressive, and the business school is just so beautiful and modern. There are groups and clubs for literally everything you can think of, and the student union did go the extra mile to make us feel welcome with a lot of programs and presents. Our lecturers are great as well, and the classes are more like intellectual exchange than 'just teaching'. This makes it easy to assimilate knowledge and look forward to learning which is one challenge I especially thought I'd go through, having been out of school for over 10 years. It's as if I never left, everything just blends in beautifully. The one thing I'd suggest an improvement on is communication between certain offices and the students. For instance in the event of cancellation of a scheduled program it would be helpful if the students were informed beforehand as some do come from quite a distance. Other than this minor ish which isn't really a big deal by the way, the University of Gloucestershire is the educational stuff of dreams and I'll really encourage folks especially international students to go for it. I do not regret coming here. It's been the most amazing experience so far.

Library is very nice and modern, good facilties. Careers and Employability were very useful and helped me improve my CV. Staff are very helpful and welcoming. Uni is very clean and gardens always look very nice. I love the private study offices and the kitchen areas. Not many downsides only really it can be very busy somedays. More facilities for food like microwaves and kettles.

Although this building has great facilities it is often hard to access them and book spaces. Since moving to this building I can't help but feel that The Arden has been neglected and I feel that I am loosing my identity as a drama school student.

Best - the activities that the student union put on. The free shuttle bus and safe taxi scheme Worst - the fire alarm going off at 7am on a weekday. Being in lectures for two days a week and the days being very long

What makes my uni a great place to study is their student support. They try to help their students in any way possible to ensure that students get the best out of their education. I think it would be better if the university put more effort into societies and clubs such as sporting clubs and teams . It would help the university to have more of a community and really showcase other talents other than what students already study on their courses. My university do have societies and some sporting teams, however some of the societies don’t run anymore and it’s not made to be as big as it was when I first heard about it before I joined uni. I think it’s important to have that feel of community and university culture and to also show the inclusiveness of different cultures, groups and activities in which people associate them selves with.

The facilities are second to none and it is a fantastic place to develop the skill set needed to work in this industry. The opportunities to perform in real world environments and the trips to working studios are a great insight into the industry. The student support services all left around Christmas. I was in a time of need and I was going to apply for extenuating circumstances but there was no one to discuss this with or ask for support. My tutors were there but it’s not their job to provide support services. I ended up just putting myself under immense stress and this lead to burnout.

I’m a mature student doing the BMus Music part-time at Goldsmiths. I’ve just come to the end of the full-time first year (which has taken me two years). Headline is I’d really recommend this course – it was definitely a good decision to apply. Over the first year I’ve done 5 year-long modules and coming to the end I reckon they have given me a really solid foundation as a musician in terms of my ability to play, write, analyse and think about music.
